To grant a studnet Moodle access for a specified period of time, log in to Alpha and follow the steps below.
1. Upon logging to Alpha, on the Alpha search area, as indicated by the arrow, type Settings, then select Settings in the displayed menue items at level 1 as indicated by the arrow.
2. Upon clicking Settings, it will open the billings settings page, Click on MOODLE ACCES, at 2.
3. Under MOODLE ACCESS, select STUDENTS EXEMPTION at 3, as shown by the arrow and the at the extreme right corner, click EXEMPT STUDNET(S) at 4 as shown by the arrow.
4. When you click EXEMPT STUDENT(S), it will open a pop up window. Here, click FILTER STUDENTS at 5.
5. On the pop up window, select the information 6 to 10, according to the student's profile, and click LOAD STUDENTS at 11 as shown by the arrow, to load the students detals.
6. After loading the student's list, type the student's access number or registration number or nae in the search area at 12, as indicated by the arrow. Select the student of interest at 13 as indicated by the arrow and then click NEXT at 14 to open the exemption window.
You can also select a range of students or the entire class and proceed to step 14, to create an exemption for a range of students in the same class.
7. At the exemption window, fill in information 15 and 16 and click SUBMIT at 17 .
Upon successful registration, you will receive the message in green below.
TO NOTE:
Incase there was an error with the exemption registration, you can search for the student in the STUDENTS EXEMPTION table and then click delete as shown by the arrow.
